Our neighborhood is filled with kids and we want them all to join in the fun!
Kids can bounce, climb, play and create at the Oak Groove Festival.
Most kids’ activities are free, and they include:

  • Costume Parade led by the
Lakeside High School Viking Marching Band

Gather at 12:45p at Oak Grove United Methodist Church to parade to the festival!
  • Shumate Cool Kids Zone featuring a special visit from Marshall from Paw Patrol!
  • Bounce Houses
  • Face Painting
  • Musical “Petting Zoo”
  • Free Play Area with hula hoops, bubble blowing, sidewalk chalk and more…
  • “ChIP” Childrens Identification Program developed by the Georgia Masons in partnership with the GBI and FBI. The Masters Masonic Lodge will offer a free CD to any parent who would like to have a record of their child’s information that they can give to the GBI and FBI, formatted to their computers, for immediate action.
